Taylor Wimpey is offering aspiring first-time buyers a leg up on to the property ladder at its Oak Springs development in Bourne.

The leading house builder is offering to purchasers who qualify a Government FirstBuy package on selected new two-bedroom starter homes.

A joint household income of below £60,000 makes you eligible to secure an Oak Springs starter home for 80 percent of its full purchase price, including a deposit as low as five percent, subject to status.

FirstBuy applies only to a limited number of the plots, so hurry to get details if you’re interested.

The spacious two-bedroom Plot 79 ‘Penarth’ terraced house is available under FirstBuy at Oak Springs, and can be bought by qualifying purchasers for 80 percent of its £119,995 purchase price – that’s just £95,996 – including a deposit of only £6,000.

And with a mortgage of just £89,996, purchasers could pay as little as £477.93 a month in repayments.

Under the FirstBuy scheme the purchaser’s deposit is boosted with a joint loan of 20 per cent, which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term, or when the property is sold.

To be eligible for FirstBuy, customers must be first-time buyers with a household income below £60,000.

Ideal for individuals or couples in search of a first home, the ‘Penarth’ features a spacious lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a contemporary kitchen and a cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two generously-proportioned bedrooms and a bathroom, while outside the property benefits from allocated parking. First-time buyers hoping to secure the ‘Penarth’ with FirstBuy should visit the Sales Centre, located off The Gables, Elsea Park, Bourne, and open seven days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm, or contact the Sales Executive on 0845 688 2060.
