The Neon Youth Theatre are rehearsing for their performance of Real to Reel which opens later this month at the South Holland Centre in Spalding.
The production follows the great success of last year’s play and is the seventh original production put on by the theatre. Real to Reel is a musical play, written, produced and performed by Neon members, and they have been working on it since July last year.
The story follows a group of teenagers whose boredom threatens to sabotage their school holidays until an invitation from a mysterious professor with an unhealthy obsession with film seems to be the answer to their prayers.
The youth theatre is run by Zest Theatre in partnership with the South Holland Centre and welcomes anyone in the local area aged between 11 and 25.
Sally Harrison, South Holland Centre’s general manager, said: “It has been exciting to see Neon Youth Theatre developing at the South Holland Centre over the past two years.
“We can’t wait to see this show on the stage and hope lots of people will come and support them - all tickets are free!”
