Neighbourhood Watch meeting for Bourne area next week

The next Bourne and District Neighbourhood Watch Association meeting takes place at Bourne Fire Station, Abbey Road, on Monday, June 8 at 7.30pm.

The meeting brings together Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators in the area and representatives from the police in Bourne to raise and discuss any issues related to local policing policy and practice.

However, it isn’t restricted to them alone and members of the public can also come along.

Philip Knowles, chairman of Bourne and District Neighbourhood Watch Association, said: “If you wish to know more about Neighbourhood Watch, we would be delighted to answer any questions you have.

“Also, if you are considering the idea of creating or joining a Neighbourhood Watch group, we will help you get started as well.”
