There was plenty of entertainment at the Moulton’s first talent show but no one expected to uncover the village’s very own Susan Boyle.
Eighty people turned up for Moulton’s Got Talent, a just-for-fun event by Moulton Community Association to celebrate the refurbished community centre.
Twelve entries took part but it was unaccompanied singer, 12-year-old Eden Parish who took the crowd by surprise.
“She was so timid and shy,” said one of the organisers, Pam Stanley: “It was just like Susan Boyle.”
The show also included a sing-a-long with Moulton Ladies Group and line dancing and an 89-year-old comedian.
Pam said it was a “wonderful afternoon” and has sparked people to join the community groups who took part.
Eden took first place followed by singer and keyboard player, Kate Harwood, and duet Emily and Charlotte Miller.
