Andy Wharff, area highways manager, said: “We recognise that these are busy, well used roads, therefore all works will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am to keep disruption and delays to a minimum. Weekend working will also be avoided to ensure residents and other road users are inconvenienced as little as possible.
“This essential maintenance work will ensure the roads will be in good condition for many years to come, avoiding the need to make frequent return visits in future to carry out repairs.”
