More than 80 people attended a Burns Night ceilidh at St Mary’s Church Hall in Pinchbeck on Friday.

The event had all the traditional hallmarks of the annual tribute to Scotland’s favourite poet, including the Ode to A Haggis, as well as music from ceilidh band, The Beltonas.

The ceilidh was organised by the church events committee and is expected to raise around £600 for St Mary’s heating project.

Events committee member Christopher Lovell said: “It went very well.

“We are trying to raise some money for some fresh heating at St Mary’s.”
