Man slashed across neck in Spalding knife attack

Police are looking for a knifeman who slashed his victim across the neck during a fight in Spalding over the weekend.

It happened in Vine Street at its junction with Abbey Passage, behind Hills Furniture Store, at about 10.50pm on Saturday.

The fight involved four men and the victim of the knife attack suffered a 10” slash wound to his neck.

DI Dave Rimmer of Spalding CID said: “Thankfully the wound was relatively shallow and the men was later released from hospital following treatment.

“But I am very concerned about what could have happened in this incident and I would urge anyone who may have seen it or has any information about it to come forward”
