Losing weight is the perfect excuse for clearing out your wardrobe if members of a weight loss group in Spalding are any guide.

Bags of dresses, skirts, trousers and other clothes that are now too big were given away to the British Heart Foundation charity shop in Market Place, Spalding, by members of a Weight Watchers group in the town.

The giveaway was organised by Justine Lawson, Karen Curtiss, Julie Atkin and Helen Webster from the group that meets at Broad Street Methodist Church every Wednesday.

Helen said: “There was a very good atmosphere and a lot of positivity, knowing that we were helping other people.” Photo (TIM WILSON): SG270214-115TW.
