Mystery of loud bangs in Spalding

Mystery surrounds reports of loud bangs in Spalding earlier today which one resident thought were explosions or gun shots.

A resident tweeted the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian claiming to have heard explosion or gun shot sounds in the Little London area at 5.45am this morning.

A Lincolnshire Police spokeswoman confirmed they had received no reports of any incidents in the area overnight.
