If you’re an Internet-novice looking to join the online world, help is at hand.
From Monday, October 13 for a week libraries across south Lincolnshire will be taking part in Get Online Week 2014, an initiative which aims to encourage people to get online and develop their digital skills.
Each library is offering at least one Internet taster session, with staff and digital champions on hand to offer advice and guidance.
Lincolnshire County Councillor Nick Worth, executive member for libraries, said: “Technology links us together like never before, and Get Online Week is an opportunity to dip your toes in the water and give the Internet a go.
“Our staff and digital champions will be able to show you the basics, taking you through things step-by-step. Hopefully, this will inspire you to learn more and make the most of all the opportunities the online world has offer.”
Spaces are limited, and people should check with their local library either in person or via customer services on 01522 782010.
