Surely authorities could get together and clear litter?

REGARDING recent letters about litter. I have lived locally for ten years and have never seen any authority clearing litter from roadside verges nor ditches in the lanes surrounding Spalding.

I urge any official or councillor to walk along any quiet, out-of-town roadside verge. They will most likely find the ground saturated with litter.

Surely the appropriate authorities could liaise and provide a small team to routinely clear litter.
