Ladies are a credit to your region

May I express my sincere thanks to a very kind lady and her mum, from Gedney Hill, who on January 27 invited a lost stranger into their house and provided him with a Google map to his intended destination.

Such courtesy is becoming a rarity these days and deserves a wider mention.

These ladies are a credit to your region.

The media makes out we all (residents of the UK) are monsters, it has created a society of suspicion where we can not take pictures of our children at school in plays and men dare not approach a lost child - the truth is, for the most part, society is still human and caring, if we stopped falling for the media hype then we'd all live happier lives.
