INJURY: Staff really went that extra mile for me

I broke my left arm in two places last February, leaving me unable to drive.

As I have no one to drive me anywhere I have walked every day to the Spar shop owned by Cross Bros in Pinchbeck.

I would like to tell all your readers about the kindness and caring all the staff have given me, from packing my goods so that they were balanced for me to carry on my right hand to going round the shop to retrieve products I could not reach.

The icing on the cake was when I said I could not carry home heavy items that were on offer I was loaned a trolley so I could take advantage of the offers.

All the staff say is: “We are only doing our job.” No, you all went that extra mile. Well done all of you and thank you all so much.
