GAY MARRIAGE: Support for MP’s stance

I offer my support to John Hayes our MP for having the courage of his convictions to stand up for his belief that marriage should remain between a man and women.

This has been so in every culture from the beginning of time and should not have been altered.

Marriage never needed to be re-defined, civil partnerships allow for two people of the same sex to demonstrate their commitment to each other with the same rights as traditional married couples.

It is a shame that those within our society who hold the traditional belief are not listened to or given any respect for their views.

Thank you to John for speaking out in a secular society where it appears that there is only one viewpoint that is listened to and acceptable. Perhaps in an effort to be all things to all people the very foundation of our culture is being eroded.

Jesus said in Mark 10 v 6 – 9 he says “ But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall be one flesh so then they are no longer two but one flesh therefore what God has joined together let no man separate.”
