ACCIDENT: Warning over car insurance

I just want to say a big thank you to all those people who came to my aid last Thursday, December 27, when my Chrysler PT Cruiser rolled onto its side outside the Treasure Island shop in Holbeach Road, Spalding and to the owners of the shop who took me in and looked after me.

I would like to inform readers that just because your fully comprehensive cover says “courtesy car with a claim”, it does not mean EVERY claim, as I have found out.

In my case only if the car is in

a garage for repair, NOT if written off or stolen!

Also, if you have a soft top and this has been damaged (like mine)I would advise you to

check it is not stored outdoors (like mine), in case it rains and any possessions you have in it get wet.
