Your Letters: Spending in wrong area

We have potholes in any road that you care to drive on, even the West Elloe twin bridges which was closed recently for months on end for repairs has the surface breaking up.

The new A16 is without doubt a complete catalogue of errors, witness the ever mounting death toll.

To fix either or both of these problems will cost money, but we are told we are in a period of austerity and must pull our belts in and only spend on the real essentials.

On a trip to Peterborough you can imagine my surprise to see the new A16 has sprouted a new system of spy cameras.

So you may bounce from pothole to pothole or take your life in your hands and use the A16 but you can rest assured some one is watching!
