Whaplode Manor sparkled on Friday night as it hosted the annual Spalding High School and Spalding Grammar School Leavers’ ball.
Around 200 year 13 students from both schools attended the James Bond-themed evening and were greeted with a cocktail on arrival and a professional photographer to capture the moment whilst standing besides the black silhouettes.
Audiowave, a band from Yorkshire who were chosen by the Events Committee, played a selection of songs throughout the night.
As a celebration of their time at school, which for many would have marked seven years with the same members of staff, students were able to spend the evening with their teachers and celebrate an end of a school era and a bright future ahead of them.
The night ended with a bang, so to speak, with the five-minute firework display over the gardens.
