A crash involving an Audi A8 driven by a 23-year-old woman from Kirton has left a pedestrian in hospital with several fractures needing surgery.
It happened on the A16 Spalding Road, Boston, where a 24-year-old woman from the town was hit by the car ar about 1.40pm on Friday. The injured woman was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, with head injuries but the Audi driver was uninjured. Part of the A16 between High Street and John Adams Way was closed for about three hours while officers from the Lincolnshire Roads Policing Unit carried out enquiries at the scene.
