UPDATE MONDAY 4PM: Two women aged in their 40s and 60s were hurt in a crash involving two vehicles on the A16 in Crowland today.
Emergency services were called to Wright’s Drove at about 9.30am where the crash took place.
No details about the vehicles involved have emerged yet but a spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service said: “We assessed two women in their 40s and 60s but neither required hospital treatment.”
MONDAY 2.15PM: More details have emerged about a crash involving two vehicles which has led to the closure of part of the A16 in Crowland today.
Two people were hurt in the crash at Wright’s Drove at about 9.30am.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We were called to reports of a collision between two vehicles on the A16 at Wright’s Drove, Crowland, at 9.30am.
“Ambulance attended and treated two people for slight injuries.”
MONDAY 10.45AM: A crash involving two vehicles has led to the closure of a section of the A16 in Crowland today.
Diversions are in place between the junction of Wright’s Drove and Peterborough Road as police look to recovery both vehicles involved in the crash.
