Teenage driver injured after crashing into ditch

 

UPDATE 3.40pm: A 17-year-old woman was taken to hospital after the car she was driving crashed into a ditch near a road in Holbeach yesterday.

The teenager, from Tydd St Mary, and a woman passenger were travelling in a silver Vauxhall Corsa which left the road and ended up in the ditch.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene at Fen Road at about 3.30pm and the teenager was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, with injuries weren’t thought to be serious.

The other woman wasn’t injured.

TUESDAY 11.15am: A person had to be helped from their vehicle after a crash in Holbeach on Monday.

One fire crew from Holbeach attended the scene in Fen Road where firemen released a person from the vehicle just after 3.20pm.

No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
