Spalding school forced to cancel Rocky Horror show

SCHOOL performers had a Rocky Horror Show of their own when they were forced to pull the plug on a musical a day before opening because of potential legal action.

Spalding Grammar School's A2 theatre studies and music students prepared for ten months for a three-night run of "The Rocky Horror Experience", based on the cult 1975 musical.

But when London licensing company Samuel French Ltd learned from the school website about the sixth formers' plans they emailed students on Wednesday afternoon, threatening the students for a breach of copyright law.
