The Sainsbury’s, Spalding, postbox is now defunct – and Sainsbury’s say Royal Mail refuse to replace it.
Sainsbury’s say they’re powerless. Royal Mail say “use a postbox in town”.
So the biggest store in town lacks an essential service. Thousands of Spalding shoppers are inconvenienced.
Are Sainsbury’s really so lacking in clout? Are Royal Mail alone responsible for such an arrogant, silly, short-sighted, inconsiderate, we-don’t-care decision?
Is it a clue to the service we can expect from the privatised Mail?
