Robbery charge: man sent to Lincoln Crown Court

A man accused of robbing a member of staff of an iPhone at The Grocers, in Francis Street, Spalding, on Saturday has been sent in custody to Lincoln Crown Court.

Ben Courtney (21), formerly of Snaith Avenue, Fosdyke, and now of no fixed address, appeared in custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday).

His solicitor, Phillipa Chatterton, made no application for bail.

Courtney is due to appear at the crown court on February 13.
