Police looking to flush out toilet thieves

Thieves have caused incovenience by stealing three portable toilets.

Police are appealing for information after three portable toilets were stolen from the Spalding area.

Community policing inspector Jim Tyner said: “Obviously there is an amusing side to the thought of toilets being stolen, but theft is theft and I would urge people to report suspicious activity.

“For example, if you see a lorry carrying a portable toilet, and the lorry doesn’t have company hire details on it, it’s worth giving us a call.”

Incident 189 of April 14 relates to the theft of a green and white Enviroloo toilet from a cauliflower field, near McDonald’s on Holbeach Road, Spalding. The toilet was stolen some time between Saturday, May 10 and yesterday (Wednesday).

Incident 173 of May 13 was the theft of a toilet from Glenside North, in Pinchbeck, between 4pm on May 12 and 5.45am the following morning.

Incident 133 of May 14 refers to the theft of a red James Stamp portable toilet from a building site on Church Lane, Moulton, overnight between Sunday and Monday.
