Pinchbeck Friar boss Ian Donger is putting a smile on his customers’ faces with a homemade sign at his Church Street chip shop guaranteeing all fish products are “100 per cent seahorse meat free”.

He said: “A lot of people are seeing the funny side with the horse meat scare. There’s been quite a few comments and it’s all been in a good, light hearted spirit.”
