Work has started on a new bus shelter for Holbeach after a residents’ petition demanding better services for shoppers.

Engineers from Lincolnshire County Council arrived on Monday to put up the new bus shelter outside Budgens in Fleet Street in response to complaints over the previous shelter being too small and poorly located.

Project officer Matthew Wilson said: “We anticipate it will take a week to complete the work.” Photo: SG050213-115NG
