An 18-year-old man from Moulton Chapel has been taken to hospital with hand and knee injuries after a crash in Gedney today.

It involved a motorbike ridden by the man and a Vauxhall Vectra which collided in Albert Avenue at about 9.15am.

The motorcyclist was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, to be treated for a minor knee injury and a suspected fractured bone in his hand.

Motorists using the B1359 Main Road and Gedney Road, both into and out of Long Sutton, faced delays because of the crash.
