Motor cyclist, 73, taken to hospital after crash in Bourne

A 73-year-old man was taken to hospital after his motor bike collided with a car in Bourne on Tuesday.

It happened on South Street when the man’s black Kawasaki motor bike crashed into an Audi just after 3pm.

A fire crew from Bourne attended and the elderly motorcyclist was taken to hospital as a precaution, but neither he nor the car driver were trapped.

Firemen cleaned up oil and petrol spilled on the road and anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 252 of March 19.
