Missing Bertie found and recovering in vets

Bertie the black labrador cross that missing in the Bourne area a week ago has been found.

He is recovering in a vets in Peterborough after being found yesterday injured in a garden in Cowbit.

It is believed the dog had been hurt in a road accident a couple of days earlier and had a bad laceration on one of his hind legs.

Owner Ben Woodgett-Dawson says has been overwhelmed with the help from the public in what he described as “a week of torture” and would like to thank everyone for their support.
