Men assaulted during burglary in Langtoft

Two men were treated in hospital after being assaulted by burglars who got into their home in Langtoft.

A group of four offenders got inside the house in Peterborough Road and assaulted the men, aged 25 and 52, although neither was seriously injured.

The offenders also searched the house and stole some cash during the incident at about 6.30pm last night.

Police want anyone with information to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 294 of January 23.
