Man found dead in ditch
A MAN has been found dead in his car in a ditch at Pointon.
Emergency services were called to Beacon Hill at about 5.15pm yesterday where a passing motorist had seen a green Volvo 850 in a ditch beside the road.
The driver, a 44-year-old local man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem will be carried out today to establish cause of death and whether it was natural causes or because of the collision.
