TUESDAY 3PM: A man whose body was found outside a block of flats in Spalding has been named today.
The body of Kevin Mervyn Lewis (48) of Lansdowne Court, Roman Bank, was discovered by a passer-by on the morning of Sunday October 6.
A spokesman for South Lincolnshire Coroner’s Court said the cause of death were still unknown despite medical tests and an investigation has now been opened.
TUESDAY OCTOBER 8 4.30PM: A post mortem on the body of a man found outside a block of flats in Spalding is due to be carried out tomorrow, police have confirmed today.
The man’s body was discovered by a passer-by at the back of Landsowne Court, Roman Bank, just before 10am and police were treating the death as unexplained.
They believe the man was 48 and from the local area, with the post mortem set to determine whether his death was from natural causes.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 6 1.30PM: Police are investigating after the body of a man was found outside a block of flats in Spalding this morning.
Officers are looking at the circumstances of the man’s death after they were called to an area at the rear of a block of flats in Landsown Court, Roman Bank, Spalding, shortly before 10am this morning.
The body was discovered by a member of the public.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination will be carried out in due course. A scene guard is in place at the building.
A formal identification has not been carried out but the deceased is believed to be a 48 year-old local man.
