Lorry overturned at Sutterton
MASSIVE traffic delays early yesterday were caused by a lorry overturning on the A16/A17 Sutterton roundabout.
The lorry, its trailer filled with 2,500 live chickens, went over at 4.30am, causing minor injuries to its 67-year-old driver from Boston.
While the driver was tajen to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital for a check-up, the road had to be closed for several hours while the chickens were transferred to another lorry and the original lorry was recovered.
