The residents of Long Sutton have been treated to many tasty treats thanks to the arrival of Delicious in the town.
Delicious coffee shop and sandwich bar opened its doors in June 2013 and business has been booming ever since.
Stephanie Ferguson, owner of the business in Market Place, has lived in South Holland all of her life, and decided that Long Sutton would be the perfect place to open her business, as it is close to her home in Gedney.
Stephanie said: “I’ve worked in food all of my life, be it in catering, factories and pubs, so when the opportunity came up for me to open this place I thought if I don’t do it now I never will!”
Stephanie, along with two others – Donna Spearing and Emma Balding – bakes many of the homemade items on the shop’s menu, including cakes, scones and quiches.
The menu at Delicious also includes sandwiches, both hot and cold, light lunches and an all-day full English breakfast.
Stephanie said: “When we first opened we just got busier and busier and the reaction to what we offer has been really good.
“We’re swimming along nicely now, but I think we’ll be looking at plans to make the business even bigger next year.”
Food can be eaten in or taken out at Delicious, and Stephanie also offers a delivery service.
Anyone within a five-mile radius of Delicious can place a delivery order, as long as it is over £10.
Stephanie said: “You can come along and sit in, or just grab something quick.
“We deliver to everyone – not just businesses – so there is always that option for my customers as well.”
Thankfully, there are no plans for Stephanie and her team to stop feeding the hungry people of Long Sutton any time soon.
Stephanie said: “I absolutely love what I’m doing and I really can’t imagine working anywhere else now.
“I just want to thank all of my current customers for all of their continued support and I look forward to welcoming new customers too.”
