Level crossing work in Spalding delayed

Network Rail has confirmed today that engineering work at two level crossings in Spalding has been cancelled and both will be open to traffic.

The level crossings at Hawthorn Bank and London Road, near the Raceground, were set to be shut from 8pm on Saturday until 9am on Monday while line upgrading work took place.

But this has now been put back and a Network Rail spokeswoman said local residents have been advised of the change.
