LATEST: Police need your help to trace Spalding robber
THE search is still on for the man who carried out an armed robbery at a Spalding building society on Friday.
Officers are appealing for help from the public to catch the man (pictured) who walked into the Norwich and Peterborough branch in Sheep Market at around 5pm.
He had what appeared to be a gun concealed in a bag and threatened staff - who handed him what police say was a "substantial amount" of cash.
The robber was described as 5ft 5in to 5ft 8in tall with a dark complexion and proportionate build. He wore a dark hood over a blue beanie hat and grey/green coat with epaulettes on the shoulders.
He made off towards the town centre.
