Ladies' night at library

A night of pampering and relaxation was held for women visiting Spalding library.

Specialists demonstrated techniques with manicures, massages, pedicures, nail art, acupuncture, hair care, skin care and make-up in a ladies' night.

The event also featured books designed for female readers at the event, which was part of Lincolnshire Libraries' National Year of Reading celebrations.

Senior community engagement officer Julie Ashworth said: "There is nothing better than relaxing with a good book and we pulled together a collection to give everyone an idea of how extensive the range is."
