Holbeach residents have a lot to be proud of after almost all of its towns and villages progressed through to the second round of the Best Kept Villages and Small Towns competition.

This year marks the 52th anniversary of the competition that takes place over three rounds and is organised by Community Lincs, with support from both the district and local councils. But good news doesn’t stop there.

Holbeach Parish Council has revealed interest in Carter’s Park has sky-rocketed thanks to its clean and tidy appearence.

There was also good news for the Battlefields Lane allotment site which saw a marked improvement in maintenance.
