It's a lifetime obsession for Adrian
PAINTING is a lifetime obsession that's turned into a new career for retired cabinet-maker and antiques restorer Adrian Fordham, who has transformed his Pode Hole furniture workshop into an art studio.
Adrian’s massive canvases mostly painted in oils on a huge scale draw on myths and iconic images, often with a twist in the tale or some humour.
Londoner Adrian has returned, since retiring in 2006, to studying art, an opportunity he missed as a teenager when he was signed up for a five-year carpentry and joinery apprenticeship.
He’s being tutored by John Gray at Riverside Studios, Spalding.

SMALL is beautiful for artist in glass Sean Hunter, who uses lampwork and other techniques to finish, refinish and turn inside out small glass objects such as beads. Sean’s Crowland studio is open only on the first weekend.
