Inquest into care home owners

An inquest into the deaths of former care home owners Jaswant Beeharry and Isabel Ibanez-Mahiques will resume on Wednesday.

The couple’s bodies were discovered in their car in Floods Ferry Road, March, on June 9 last year.

The pair were found dead just hours after writing to relatives of residents at Maria-Helena Care, which they owned, to say the home in Dawsmere was to close.

The inquest, which will be heard by North and East Cambridgeshire coroner William Reade will be held at The Boathouse, Wisbech, from 10.30am.
