Growing Business of the Year winner

Crowland company Bettaland Products was crowned as the growing business of the year.

Bettaland sells and delivers organic garden compost, soil conditioners, soil, compost and bark mulches to domestic, retail and commercial customers ranging from small bags to bulk loads.

Sales and marketing manager Giles Dixon said: "I didn't think we would win, so it's brilliant to be standing up here.

"I would like to thank all my colleagues for coming to support me tonight."

Business owner Tracy Riddington was away on holiday when Giles entered Bettaland into the business awards.

She said: "I knew nothing about it.

"It was a lovely surprise.

"Praise has to go to Giles. His enthusiasm is brilliant."

The company puts its success down to hard work and a commitment to providing customers with the information and end product they require.

Giles said: "I feel Bettaland has out-performed its potential and the prospects for growth and success are extremely good."
