Funeral for hit-and-run victim Tim Osborn

Waiting for Video...

Shoppers and staff lined up to say a final farewell to hit-and-run victim Tim Osborn as his funeral cortege made its way to a memorial service at Peterborough Crematorium.

The hearse carrying the 27-year-old’s body split off from the main procession, which included dozens of motorcyclists, to come to rest for a few minutes outside Morrison’s in Pinchbeck, where Tim worked for more than 10 years.

Tim was killed on Bourne Road, Pode Hole – just yards from his own front door – on September 14 after he was hit by what is believed to be a silver Transit-style van as he cycled home from work.

His mum Lynne discovered his body lying in a ditch about three hours later after becoming worried when he did not return home.
