Free Press Business Awards - meet the winners and runners-up

THE top businesses from across south Lincolnshire got the recognition they deserve at the second annual Lincolnshire Free Press Business Awards last night.

More than 25 businesses and sponsors attended the glittering gala evening at the South Holland Centre.

See video of the evening here.

Sixty companies from across the area took part and more than 120 entries were received in six categories.

The coveted Business of the Year award, sponsored by Duncan and Toplis, was taken by Gosberton firm Infotel Solutions.

In addition to the six awards which were judged by the sponsors of each category, the Service with a Smile award saw a fantastic response from Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian readers with 179 businesses, groups and individuals being nominated in this category alone.

The winner was decided by readers casting hundreds of votes and the top three were judged by a mystery shopper.
