Ex-Bourne Town and Deeping Rangers defender Kris Jones is critically ill in hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the A1 in Nottinghamshire.
Jones was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after his Mercedes collided with a lorry near Newark at about 4.40pm on Monday.
The Sleaford Town boss was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, where he is in intensive care.
