Driver cut free after collision near Crowland Bypass

A driver had to be cut free after his car was in a collision near the Crowland bypass.

Emergency services attended the scene on the B1166 in Hulls Drove, Portland, this morning.

The road was closed at 8.15am for the recovery of the vehicles - a Peugeot 206 and a Mercedes Vito van.

Firefighters removed the roof of the car to free the driver. It is understood he was injured and taken to Peterborough Hospital.
