Delays on A17 after crashes

Motorists faced delays on the A17 during rush hour this morning follwoing two accidents.

The first, near the Priestfield Drove junction at Gedney, happened just after 8am. Vehicles involved are not yet known but it is believed no one was hurt.

The second crash, at Fleet, happened at about 8.15am and involved two HGVs.

Although neither of the drivers were hurt in the collision, it is believed the accident may have occurred after one of them was taken ill at the wheel.
