Deeping teenager killed in road accident

A MARKET Deeping teenager has been killed in a road accident.

Beth Markwick (15), of Woodcroft Close, was a passenger in a Honda Accord which went into a ditch off the A15 at Deeping Gate yesterday at 11.30am.

The three other passengers, two 16-year-old girls from Spalding and a 15-year-old girl from Langtoft, suffered minor injuries.

A 23-year-old Peterborough man who also suffered minor injuries was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was released on bail to report back to police at Peterborough on July 12.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information can call 0300 111 0300.
