Councillor gets planning permission

District councillor Bob Creese has been given planning consent for an extension and alterations to his home in Cobgate, Whaplode.

His application went to South Holland’s planning committee for a decision – the usual procedure when a councillor or council employee applies for planning permission.

Coun Creese declared an interest and left the meeting on Wednesday before his plan was debated.
