Chimney fire in Wigtoft area caused by soot build-up

A fire at a house near Wigtoft was caused by a build-up of soot in the chimney breast, it has been confirmed today.

One fire engine from Donington attended the blaze at a house in Hoffleet Stow which was reported just after 6.20pm yesterday.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
