Child with trapped finger helped by fire crew

A Spalding youngster had an unfortunate start to half-term week after getting their finger trapped in a cupboard at home on Monday.

One fire crew from Spalding went to a house in London Road to help release the child whose finger was trapped between the cupboard door and frame.

The incident happened just after 3pm but paramedics weren’t required to check the child’s condition.
